In the fall of 1987 Scott (aka DJ Madflip) discovered the dance music scene that thrived in Gainesville, Florida and began buying records. Not long after, he began spinning as a hobby.

Scott was a predominant figure in the Northwest Florida dance music scene for years since moving back down from the Virginia/D.C. area back in 1996. He has played at events and clubs from the east coast to the west coast. DJing is a passion!

Since moving to Atlanta Scott has been playing spinning dance music in many forms in the Atlanta area. He has current and past residencies at Halo Lounge in Midtown, Fado Irish Pub in Buckhead, Rise Sushi Lounge, Pool Hall, Buckhead Saloon, Koo Koo Room, PUB 71, and Aurum Lounge.
